Fall Living Room Tour

Fall Living Room Tour

A few months ago I was taking a look at our living room, and even though I loved it overall, I felt like it could use a few adjustments. What’s great is that by changing out the pieces that no longer worked in the space, we were able to instantly transform the room. We kept the same neutral color palette (with pops of blush of course), but replaced the coffee table, rug, and throw pillows.

Sofa | TV Stand | Blush Accent Chair | Teepee | Bar Cart
Rug | Faux Fur Ottoman | Coffee Table
Velvet Pumpkins | Vase | The Boss Mug | Cooler On The Internet Plate | Velvet Pillow
The Way She Wears It Book | Pom Pom Throw | Macarame Wall Hanging
Art: Mesmerize | Anters | Brooklyn Bridge | Life Guard Tower
Pink Agave | This Just In | Southern Cotton | Parisian Windows | Planar

Although I loved our previous coffee table, it was way too large for the space, and the glass top was extremely hard to maintain. Matt and I are pretty neat people, but it seemed like the coffee table attracted everything and anything. We switched our old coffee table out for a smaller, round marble coffee table. It’s pretty small, but I think it’ll stop us from eating dinner on it (which is a terrible habit, I know), and won’t attract as much clutter. Plus I love the way it looks!

When it comes to rugs I’m always torn. I love the way rugs make a space cozier and more put-together, but having a puppy makes it hard to keep them clean. Now that Merlin is a bit older and has fewer accidents, I thought it was time to finally purchase a new one. As soon as I saw the Enzo Rug at Lulu and Georgia I knew it would perfect for the space. It brings out the blush accents of the room and it’s not overly thick and fluffy, making it easy to clean.

As far as decor, we decided to change out the throw pillows, add a few blankets, and a design little corner for Merlin. I feel like pillows and blankets are what make a space cozy. I always want our space to feel warm and inviting, especially during the cooler months, and I think adding the different textures did that. Another new addition is the beautiful Macramé wall-hanging my cousin Jamie from Australia designed for us. She recently visited the states and gifted us this stunning piece for our engagement. Her pieces are unreal, be sure to check them out at JAC home.heart.

With a few additions, it’s so easy to transform your space. I love the way our living room looks now and I can’t wait to watch every Halloween and Christmas movie in existence snuggled up on our sofa.

What do you think of the revamped space?
